Located right across the courtyard is our sister restaurant The Fish Joint, which was started by brothers Davin and Lauren Waite, along with Hill Street Cafe owner Dan Calloway. From their web site:
The Fish Joint was created by three Clash fans as they sat on their surfboards (freezing) not too many winters ago. One of the three Jedi Knights (Dan) already had the best restaurant in Oceanside (Hill Street Cafe). However he wanted to give the locals (our friends and neighbors) yet another cutting edge choice. One of the coolest things is the fact that these two restaurants combined give hungry locals (as well as visitors) tremendous culinary choices everyday. Maybe that’s why so many people come in here multiple times a day. It’s all about synergy.
